As reported on Feministing.com, McDonalds has introduced a new line of milk based coffee drinks.  I haven't checked them out, but several folks say they've seen the new super-auto espresso machines at a few McDonalds. 

My opinion is this, if they're offering a coffee product, prepared well, terrific.  If they'd source their coffee from quality farms and farmers who need the support, even better.

I have to say I doubt it.  Check out this video of a new commercial targeted to women. 

This commercial asserts that women who go to cafe's do so because there is no other source of good coffee, so they must pretend to be intellectuals and dress in pretentious outfits.  Oh, and of course, they shouldn't bother pretending they know where the heck their coffee comes from.
