Check it out.  Indie Coffee Shops let's you search for independent coffee houses by address, filter by things like "serves alcohol and WIFI), then gives you the results on a Google map.

So far they've got 1,589 coffee shops in 766 cities.  You can help by adding your favorite shop to the list.  They've got some great enhancements planned (like a mobile accessible version of the site).  I'd love to see a larger universe of shops (maybe in partnership with the Specialty Coffee Association) or user reviews/ratings.

Nice work!  Now if we could just build a similar application for coffee roasters...
